01Mission & philosophy
Our mission is to raise happy, healthy, well-adjusted Goldendoodles that bring joy, love, and companionship to their families. We focus on ethical breeding, excellent care, early socialization, and a nurturing home environment.
Our plans are guided by demand and a carefully maintained waitlist so every puppy has a loving home ready. We rarely breed a dam more than three times without veterinary approval and typically have no more than two litters in a year. This intentional pace lets us prioritize the health and happiness of our dogs and puppies—not quantity.
Health, temperament, and quality guide every decision. We aim to build trusted, transparent relationships while matching each puppy with the right forever home.
Health & genetic testing
All of our dams and sires are genetically health tested. Testing helps identify carriers or dogs affected by inherited conditions, giving us the information to make thoughtful breeding decisions.
- We avoid breeding two carriers of the same genetic condition to reduce health risk.
- We use genetic insight to plan pairings that support desirable traits while minimizing the risk of genetic disorders.
- Detailed genetic information helps guide future litter planning and responsible choices.
Puppy socialization & training
From their earliest days, puppies are gently introduced to sights, sounds, and experiences that support confident, well-adjusted companions. They spend time around children, adults, and other animals in a safe, nurturing setting.
We also introduce early foundations, including crate and potty-training exposure, to help prepare puppies for their new homes.
Health & wellness protocols
Our dogs’ and puppies’ health is a priority. Regular veterinary checkups, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and preventative care are part of the health regimen. Puppies leave with a clean bill of health and records for their new family.
Nutrition & care
We believe a healthy dog begins with sound nutrition. Our dogs and puppies receive high-quality, balanced diets tailored to their stage of development, plus needed supplements, fresh water, and a clean place to thrive.
Environment & living conditions
Dogs and puppies are raised in our home as cherished family members. They have clean, spacious areas and opportunities to explore, play, and exercise—experiences that help shape sociable, well-mannered companions.
Breed-specific education
Goldendoodles are known for friendly, intelligent, and low-shedding qualities. We help prospective owners understand the breed’s character, grooming needs, activity level, responsibilities, and joys before bringing one home.
Puppy placement process
Finding the right match is a responsibility we take seriously. We guide prospective families through an application and interview process to help ensure every puppy joins a loving home where they can thrive.

Every Cocoa Doodles puppy is vet checked, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and sent home with a 2-year health guarantee and a 7-day well-puppy warranty.
Our go-home basket includes a collar and leash, treats, toys, food for the first few days, and a blanket carrying mama’s scent—thoughtful essentials for a gentler transition.
